Related Families

This section provides information on other families that are related to my line of Blairs.

• McLuckie Databases
  I have two McLuckies (both Margaret's) in my Blair Family Tree. The first was the wife of John Blair, my oldest confirmed ancestor. The second was the wife of Robert Blair, son of John Blair and Margaret McLuckie. I have download over 700 McLuckie births/christenings and 400 McLuckie marriages in Scotland between 1701 - 1860 from the LDS-FHC OPRs. These are ALL the McLuckie births/christenings and marriages listed in the LDS-FHC OPRs and can be found here.

• O'Hara Family History
  Sarah O'Hara was my great grandmother. She descended from John O'Hara and Jane McBennoir. I was fortunate to come across a manuscript in the Vermont Historical Society entitled "Some Historic Facts About the O'Hara Family" Assembled March 27, 1893 By C.H. Willey Principal, Barton Academy. This manuscript contains extensive information on the John O'Hara / Jane McBennoir line. I have posted this manuscript here. 

• Gilfillan Families
  Our Blair connection to the Gilfillan line is through the marriages of Alexander and Joseph Blair to Jean and Marion Gilfillan. Alexander and Joseph were the son of Robert Blair (the brother of my gr-gr-gr grandfather) and Margaret McLuckie. This information on the Gilfillans was taken from the "History of Barnet Vermont" by Frederic Wells (edition of 1923).
