Blair, Timothy V.
Alexander Blair (1750-1822) was born
in Pennsylvania and married to Rachael Carson in 1774. They were the
parents of eight children and lived in the Shade gap area of
Pennsylvania. A descendant settled an area in the 1820s-1840s which came
to be known as Blairs Mills, Pennsylvania. Descendants live in
Pennsylvania and other parts of the United States.

of Myrtle Hannah Christensen Blair Blair, Myrtle Hannah
Christensen, 1899-1984.
Mrytle Christensen was born in 1899 in
Colorado. Her parents were active members of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints and she had 12 siblings. The family returned to
Utah and Myrtle became a nurse. In 1922 she married Leo Blair and they
had three children. Her recollections of her experiences and those of
her siblings and children are included in this volume.

of Leo Amos Blair Blair, Leo Amos, 1898-1961.
Leo Amos Blair was born in 1898 in
Utah. His family were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and he remained active all his life. He served in
World War I and in 1922 he married Myrtle Christensen. They had three
children and he worked for the railroad until his death in 1961. His own
account of his life make up a large part of this volume.

Family history and genealogical
information about the descendants of Charles Blair who was born ca. 1759
in Virginia. He was likely the son of Joseph Blair and Alice (surname
unknown). Charles married Easter Robertson sometime prior to the year
1793 in Virginia. They lived in Knox County (now Letcher County)
Kentucky and were the parents of four sons and three daughters.
Descendants lived primarily in Virginia, Kentucky and North Carolina.

James Blair was born about 1770 and
came to North Carolina with his brothers, John and William. He married
Elizabeth Fitzgerald and they had at least 4 children. Information about
their descendants is included in this volume. Descendants now live in
Ohio, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and elsewhere. His ancestors came to America
from Scotland.

Blair Chameleon Bangerter, Lawrence B. (Lawrence Berdell)
, 1944-
Three Blease/Blair/Blayr brothers,
Thomas Wainwright (b. 1796), Henry (b. 1797) and Horation Nelson (b.
1804) immigrated to America from England in 1816. Thomas went to Georgia
and later settled in South Carolina. Horation went south and eventually
joined Thomas in South Carolina. Henry went to Massachusetts, then to
Illinois and his descendents joined the L.D.S. Church and migrated to
Utah.
