John Blair

We know very little of John except that he was the oldest son of John Blair and Margaret McLuckie. 

Old Parish Records of the Church of Scotland list John as the son of John Blair and Margaret McLuckie, baptized on Feb 11, 1750 in Kippen, Stirlingshire, Scotland The same information is recorded in the Associate Session of Balfron which contains baptisms of Buchlyvie from 1750 to 1752.

John is also mentioned in several of the Robert Blair Letters:

I would have sent your Fathers Bible but Brother John wrote me from Glasgow that if I would send it he would make me Repent it for he was the Old son and it was his.
